Berkeley Marina: 27 Mar 07
This is a happy place.
When the sun sets, you can really see the ball move behind the hills.
A long path to walk. Places without crowds are nice.
Beats squeezing with people at the esplanade.
Its windy though. Be warned.
Location: West of Berkeley (map)
(Path by Breakwater Dr, Cesar E Chavez Park)
Hawk’s Hill: We hunted for, and found the best view of the GGB.
The best unobstructed view from this angle. Is from this hill =)
Anyway, this was a special day.
You can see the Oakland ports too.
Concidentally, as we were sitting there, the moon started to rise.
Later, we realised that we had a picked a day to visit where there was a rare moon eclipse. I think it happens once every 30 years or so.
Anyway, this was a good day. =)
